Yes. Transcribing audio to text is free and has no limit on minutes or on the number of files. The artificial intelligence features, such as summaries and task extraction, are part of the paid plans.
You can send MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, OPUS, AAC, FLAC, MP4 and voice messages exported from messaging apps. You can also record straight from your phone's microphone.
Transcript transcribes in the native language of the audio: if the recording is in Portuguese, the text comes out in Portuguese; if it is in Spanish, it comes out in Spanish. Translation is not offered. The app is available in Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish and English.
Your files are used only to generate your transcription. You can delete any audio and the matching text at any time inside the app, and no content is sold or used to train third-party public models.
For now the app is available only for Android, on Google Play. The iPhone version is in development.
You can record the audio offline on your phone. The transcription is processed once the device is back online, and the text is saved in your history.
